• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment • Manage the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment • Develop project plans and schedules, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget • Identify and mitigate risks to project success, and proactively address any issues that arise • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, helping to solve complex problems and make sound technical decisions • Provide firmware development support when necessary • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in embedded software development, and ensure that the team is using the most appropriate tools and technologies • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in our software development processes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system engineers, and product managers, to ensure the successful integration of software with hardware components • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• BS or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Minimum 5 years experience as an embedded software developer • Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership or management role with a proven track record of successfully leading software development teams • Excellent technical skills in embedded systems programming languages such as C or C++. • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and hardware/software integration • Strong understanding of software development process • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
