Description

• Design and build performant, reliable, extendable, scalable systems • Own the full life cycle of API service development • Coordinate with other teams on cross-cutting technical issues and provide technical advice on decisions that impact other teams or the company at large • Contribute to improving team productivity through code reviews, documentation, technical guidance, and mentoring • Identify problems and propose team projects that resolve them

Requirements

• 7+ years of building performant APIs • Passion for writing excellent code • Expertise in database management systems, architecture, and SQL queries • Self-starter with a high degree of motivation; ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines • Strong track record of building, optimizing and scaling web APIs based on feedback from customers and internal teams • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills • Open to on-call rotation
