Description
• Lead the engineering team of accessories at Lucid Motors • Serve as the single point of contact for all technical attributes and delivery of accessory products • Align direction of accessory products for design, attributes, and cost targets • Mentor and teach other engineers within the organization • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals • Represent the Office of the Chief Engineer in various meetings • Evaluate manufacturing methods for optimal functionality, weight, attributes, and cost • Manage complex projects in a demanding environment
Requirements
• Proven engineering experience and technical excellence • Understanding of physics and material science • Hands-on practical experience in prototype assembly or vehicle service • Desire to create state-of-the-art engineering products • Experience/knowledge of manufacturing processes • Advantageous: Experience with CATIA V5/V6, knowledge of high voltage architectures, vehicle crash safety principles, vehicle dynamics principles, NVH principles • BS/BEng or MS/MEng in Mechanical Engineering
