Description
• Lead the development and production of Seating Systems • Manage periodic engineering changes, supplier issues, service parts, warranty improvement • In-depth knowledge of Complete Seat Development, Structure & Mechanisms Development, Testing • Negotiate with internal and external groups, vendors, and customers • Proactive communication and scope management • Effectively manage overall program timing • Function in different cultures and initiate work packages • Coordinate vendor and display selection • Primary role in outsourcing activities
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 6 years, or PhD with 3 years • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar planning tools • 8 years in Seating Systems design & development • Track record in bringing seating products to production • Engagement with suppliers • Experience in leading & developing Complete Seats & Seat Structure & Mechanisms • Experience with vehicle integration and test processes • Ability to discern priorities, learn quickly, and move between tactical and strategic perspectives • PMP certification preferred
