Description
• Responsible for the resources and timelines related to the month and quarter end revenue process, ensuring that the revenue related data is accurate and provided timely for the financial close process • Provide guidance and conduct research related to revenue recognition items under ASC 606 • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency • Work cross functionally across MasterClass to support the implementation of new revenue products from an operational and technical perspective • Support the Company’s annual financial external audit by providing accurate revenue support and educating the Company’s auditors on the Company’s revenue process and stance on technical revenue items • Utilize and help maintain the Company’s tool for revenue recognition related to B2C and B2B revenue
Requirements
• Experience implementing and operationalizing revenue systems and reporting • Strong ASC 606 accounting background and experience • Highly analytical mind-set with a strong attention to detail • Desire to continually improve existing processes providing improved visibility to the business • Passionate curiosity about the business
