Description

• Designing, deploying, configuring, integrating, and maintaining secure enterprise and air-gapped systems with a complex variety of operating systems, software applications, and hardware • Working with collaborative teams to provide technical solutions that are timely, secure, and innovative • Installation, configuration, and management of operating systems (Windows and Linux) • Employing security best practices and documenting designs, diagrams, maintenance, and support procedures for networks • Resolving and documenting escalated tickets • Developing and maintaining high availability of infrastructure and systems with expert-level configuration, administration, and optimization of hosts and servers • Participating in the design of information and operational support systems • Researching and recommending innovative and automated approaches for system engineering tasks • Staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends • Providing guidance and mentorship to system administrators when necessary • Assisting end users with accounts, licensing, and application issues • Providing Tier III and below support when necessary • Troubleshooting and restoring complex service operations • Ensuring technological solutions meet security and schedule requirements • Working with approved vendors to ensure the configuration and purchase of new equipment, software, and licenses are feasible and cost-efficient

Requirements

• TS/SCI and current Tier 5 (T5) security clearance required • Must be able to obtain and maintain an 8570 compliant IAT Level II or higher certification • Minimum of 3 years experience as an IT Systems Engineer or related role • Advanced troubleshooting skills in a heterogenous environment • Experience with hardening systems according to industry security standards • Scripting and automation knowledge (Powershell, Python, Bash, YAML, etc.) • Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages • Experience with Microsoft applications and Hyper-V architecture • Experience with Dell PowerEdge and PowerProtect products
