• Manage a team of several developers working on minware’s core application. • Provide career guidance and conduct performance reviews for engineers. • Conduct interviews and play an active role in growing the team. • Review code, participate in sprint meetings, and provide guidance to ensure that engineers are meeting product and technical requirements. • This is a player/coach role, so you will spend part of your time working on development tasks as part of the team. • Work closely with product managers and customers to define minware’s capabilities. • Design and architect new system components. • Manage a backlog of tech debt reduction and internal efficiency improvements.
• Previous experience managing and recruiting other software engineers • Experience hands-on experience building and maintaining a complex back end application • Strong communication skills for interfacing with non-technical stakeholders and occasionally with customers • Familiarity with principles of high-quality code, including continuous integration, declarative and functional programming • Well-versed in agile or lean planning and project management processes
