Description
• Lead and own RTL development of one or more modules of a high-performance CPU core • Drive the micro-architecture and design of critical CPU blocks • Explore high-performance strategies with CPU modeling team • Perform Microarchitecture development and specification • Design Features Development, assessment, and refinement of RTL design • Functional verification support and design verification strategy • Partner with multi-functional engineering team to implement physical design aspects • Be a member of a fast-growing team working on creating high-performance RISC-V processors
Requirements
• Hands-on working knowledge of in-order or out-of-order high-performance CPU core • Thorough knowledge of microprocessor architecture • Expertise in areas like Instruction fetch, branch prediction, etc. • Knowledge of Verilog and/or VHDL • Experience with simulators and waveform debugging tools • MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years or BS degree with 7+ years of practical experience
