Description
• Cost accounting across systems • Review and analyze inventory and margin reports • Ensure timely submission, accuracy, and validity of inventory and gross margin schedules • Analyze changes in product design and costs • Assist in new product costings and establish standard costing • Prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs • Analyze costs and operational data to report on performance • Prepare detailed account analysis and/or reconciliations for inventory and project costs • Support internal department reporting requirements
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 1-2 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment • Proven ability to manage cost accounting systems and processes • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures • Proficiency in procurement and financial software systems and Google Sheets/MS Excel • Excellent communication skills for reporting and managing internal relationships
