• Work with engineers to develop and execute RF specific tests to qualify current and new designs • Author and execute procedures for component level acceptance testing • Coordinate with the supply chain team to kit parts, test, and prepare for flight builds • Help with setup and modification of test and development hardware in the lab • Run radiated and conducted emissions testing on systems and subsystems of the satellite. Debug where emissions may be originating from in the system
• Extensive experience with RF-specific test equipment including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, etc. • Experience with the setup and testing of antennas • Ability to independently troubleshoot electronics and test equipment issues • Ability to rigorously follow written procedures and document results • Excellent communication skills • Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with new challenges each week • Nice-to-have Skills: Thermal testing & chamber experience, Fine pitch rework & soldering ability, Experience building RF cables & other harnesses, Certification in relevant build/rework standards, Knowledge of EMC standards and procedures, as well as knowledge of radio communications fundamentals, Test equipment automation experience in a high level scripting language such as Python, Perl, Bash, etc
