Description
• Planning and administering skilled physical therapy treatment • Evaluating patients’ physical strengths • Developing and implementing rehabilitation programs • Adjusting treatments to achieve maximum results • Collaborating with clinical team members • Providing written instructions to therapy staff • Monitoring documentation by staff • Accurately documenting patient care • Reporting patient progress • Submitting evaluations and treatment plans
Requirements
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution • Current and unrestricted CA Physical Therapy license • Current CPR/BLS certification • Compliance with state healthcare regulations • Up-to-date treatment practices knowledge • Ability to care for diverse patient personalities • Ability to assess patient conditions and collaborate on treatment plans • Minimum 1 year Physical Therapy experience in an institutional setting • Minimum 1 year Physical Therapy experience with a home health agency • Valid driver’s license with a registered and insured vehicle • Strong observation, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills
