Description
• As a software engineer intern, you'll start contributing to our engineering stack and pushing code to production within your first two weeks. • You'll engage in every phase of product development, from conception to launch and performance measurement, owning a project and collaborating with your team under the guidance of a mentor suited to your expertise in Mobile (Android/iOS), Web front-end, or backend infrastructure (Kotlin/Python/Go). • Over 12 weeks, you’ll gain hands-on experience solving real-world problems and defining features while collaborating closely with teammates across the organization.
Requirements
• Currently pursuing education in a technical discipline, with graduation expected between Fall 2025 and Summer 2026 • Fundamental understanding of data structures and algorithms • Familiarity with programming principles and a strong desire to learn more • Willingness to communicate and collaborate; we value your ideas • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment • Strong desire to learn about new technologies and systems • Effective time management skills • Experience in software design and development • Passion for Nextdoor’s mission and purpose
