Description
• Conduct legal research on criminal law cases, statutes, and regulations. • Assist attorneys in case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and motions. • Organize and manage case files, documents, and evidence. • Prepare and review discovery materials. • Assist with trial preparation, including witness coordination and document production. • Manage communication with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel. • Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence. • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines. • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant specializing in Criminal Law. • Strong knowledge of criminal law statutes, regulations, and procedures in the US. • Proficient in legal research and case management software. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a team. • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
