Fueled by AI, our platform efficiently reviews and categorizes documents at a speed 10 times faster, significantly reducing validation time by highlighting pertinent information crucial for litigation in medical analysis and personal injury cases. • Our platform has been successfully implemented in major national settlements to process, adjudicate, and value claims. • At Pattern, our team is built on a foundation of innovation, integrity, and collaboration—values that consistently deliver excellence to our clients. • We’re looking for a Director of Finance to join our growing team. • We are seeking a strategic Director of Finance to develop and grow financial operations within Pattern. • Oversee all financial operations, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, general accounting, accounts receivable/payable, cash flow, variance analysis, and tax compliance • Collaborate with the executive team to develop financial and operational strategies to manage cash flow and maximize business and strategic impact • Conduct financial analysis in multiple areas of the business, and present financial reports to stakeholders on an ongoing basis to support informed decision-making, including preparing materials for management, board meetings, potential fundraising activities, etc. • Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect organizational assets • Advise leadership and partners on strategic finance by supporting priorities and providing a forward-looking lens for the business • Work closely with all major departments (e.g., sales, HR, product, etc.) to understand and analyze financial impacts to the overall business
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or similar area • 5-10+ years of financial planning or financial strategy ownership for business operations • Proven track record in financial analysis, including the ability to create financial models, interpret financial data, assess trends, and make data-driven recommendations • Experience with effectively presenting financial information to diverse stakeholders, including investors, board members, the executive team, and functional areas • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify financial challenges, assess opportunities, and propose solutions • Experience working at a company in high-growth stage is a plus • Experience working on a small team is a plus
