Description
Serve as the first in-house back-end engineer, working closely with the head of engineering and the product team. • Take ownership of existing back-end code and continue development. • Contribute to the scalability and reliability of our systems. • Maintain and improve systems while architecting next-generation features. • Own code quality, testing, performance optimization, and documentation for backend systems. • Collaborate closely with the broader engineering team, including external developers. • Documentation and implementation of best practices for backend systems.
Requirements
5+ years or equivalent experience in backend development • Proficiency in Golang • Mastery of development tooling (git or similar, build tools, etc.) • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure.) • Working knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL.)
