Description
• Manage all production activities according to SOPs • Drive continuous improvement in yield, throughput, cycle time, and efficiency • Oversee the production process and schedule • Ensure cost-effective production • Monitor production processes and maintain schedules for timeliness • Determine human and material resource requirements • Establish and maintain quality standards, implement control programs • Liaise among departments for policy implementation • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines • Participate in staff training and evaluation • Identify training needs and manage development plans • Adhere to QMS and regulatory standards • Ensure department compliance with quality systems • Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of supervisory experience in the medical device or related industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills are required • Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members and to address performance issues effectively • Experience with MRP and lean manufacturing highly desired • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 3 pm to 11:30 pm
