• Lead the development, writing, and submission of grant proposals, ensuring compliance with grantor guidelines and deadlines • Build a project consortium by reaching out to new potential partners or those within our network • Collaborate with our team of scientists and engineers to gather the necessary information and data for grant applications • Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate the impact and importance of our work to potential funders • Manage and maintain a grants calendar to monitor application deadlines, submission dates, and reporting requirements • Coordinate project consortium and ensure each partner has prepared the required documents • Provide regular updates to the leadership on grant application status, potential funding opportunities, and recommendations for strategic alignment
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Technical Writing, Communications, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred • At least 2 years of experience in grant writing, preferably within the environmental, biotechnology, or scientific research sectors • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex scientific information into clear, persuasive narratives • Excellent research, organizational, and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
