Description

• Develop and execute comprehensive cloud strategies for the MEDCHART system, aligned with Government objectives. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions. • Design and architect cloud infrastructure solutions based on best practices and industry standards. • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud applications. • Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services and technologies to meet project and organizational requirements. • Develop and execute migration plans for the MEDCHART system to the Government-selected Cloud hosting facility. • Implement robust security measures and compliance controls in cloud architectures. • Collaborate with software developers to ensure applications are optimized for cloud environments.

Requirements

• Develop cost models and optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost-effectiveness. • Implement strategies for monitoring and managing cloud expenses. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and processes. • Ensure documentation is accessible to relevant stakeholders. • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Expertise in cloud architecture design, including networking, security, and scalability. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles.
