Description

• Planet’s Manufacturing Test Engineering team ensures spacecraft quality standards • Develop software applications and test infrastructure, including automation frameworks, device drivers, web applications • Enhance test infrastructure’s capabilities to support spacecraft production and testing capacity • Collaborate with stakeholders and engineers to lead project development and timely completion • Design APIs and develop automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, and improve developer experience • Interact with spacecraft hardware and develop tools, libraries, and tests

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience developing software applications • 5+ years of experience with Linux/Unix • 2+ years of experience using frontend web development libraries and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js • Experience identifying a customer’s needs and delivering a solution in a timely manner • Experience planning projects by identifying dependencies, breaking the work into pieces, and collaborating with teammates to complete the project • Experience with unit testing, continuous integration, documentation, and code reviews • Ability to debug complex interconnected systems
