• As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the PMA project team and collaborate with clients and project teams through a successful process of strategic real estate planning, design and construction of new buildings, tenant improvement buildouts, and facilities assignments.
• You have 3+ years of development and project management Experience with Real Estate brokerage firms or brokers is a plus. Accounting experience is also a plus. • You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Civil or related Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate Finance or a related field; • You assist with the development and completion of project specific tasks as required to meet or exceed the expectations of the client and fulfill contractual obligations • You interact weekly with the client and Real Estate brokers and can communicate succinctly, directly, and professionally with them and other internal team leaders. • You have familiarity with Real Estate terminology and Real Estate Development Financial metrics, including Pro Forma spreadsheets and Leasing strategies and language. • You support the planning and analysis of conceptual design issues and pre-construction • You coordinate and review the development of architectural and engineering construction drawings and bid documents. • You can create budgets and schedules for projects and are able to effectively communicate critical information to key stakeholders. • You effectively review, understand, and enforce contractual requirements for design and construction professionals and assist project management staff in generating contracts and addenda. • You understand or can quickly learn the building permit process and support the design and construction professionals in securing the permit. • You effectively meet with contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants to review the project status and resolve issues. • You responsibly maintain and follow-up on project open item lists • You direct and/or document project meetings • You review and analyze potential changes to budget or schedule and communicate potential issues to team members • You monitor construction budget and schedule including updating and maintaining web-based project controls. • You actively observe and report on construction process and construction related issues (field reports, job walks, etc.). • You assemble and review materials for project draw/invoice packages. • You manage the project close out process to a successful completion.
