Description
• Reporting to the Manager, Payroll, the Payroll Specialist is a critical position within the organization • This position is responsible for processing and reviewing semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll • The Payroll Specialist provides subject matter expertise regarding all payroll processes and procedures • The position serves as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns with respect to payroll issues • The position requires that the employee possess full cycle payroll experience with Dayforce (Ceridian) • Integrity, strong attention to detail, and time management are crucial for this role
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in administering full cycle payroll • Minimum of 1-year recent Dayforce (Ceridian) experience • Understanding of payroll practices and US legislation • Intermediate Excel skills • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to set priorities and meet tight deadlines • Service-oriented with strong communication skills, both verbally and written • Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team • Must be able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner • Post-secondary education or equivalent business experience • Payroll Professional designation
