Description

• Bridge the gap between the technical and business realms and create value for key stakeholders • Work with Account Executives in specific regions to win net new logos • Work with Account Managers & Technical Account Managers to maintain retention of existing key customers • Simplify complex security problems to a range of audiences • Work independently, collaboratively and cross-functionally as an active member of the Pondurance team • Communicate and present to a range of audiences effectively • Work with marketing to create effective technical content • Embrace a customer first approach leveraging strong consultative skills developed from both successes and failures • Ability to travel as required

Requirements

• Sales engineering background or 5+ years of relevant work experience • Advanced knowledge of endpoint security or network security space – AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc. • Advanced experience in the security service provider space – MSSP, MDR, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, etc. • Ability to provide expert recommendations on new solutions and improvements based on market trends • Ability to do hands-on testing and playing with our solution (preferred) • Knowledge of malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis (preferred) • Experience in an IT role specifically as an Admin (preferred) • Deep understanding of the OSI model as well as industry compliance such as PCI, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, etc (preferred) • Understanding of encryption, privacy, risk management, and other important aspects that touch, influence or drive security decisions (preferred) • Security Certifications (preferred)
