Description

• Mid, Senior, and Lead Software Engineers are needed • The company is a small, stable, growing organization • Engineers must be able to do high-quality work, stay current, and learn new technologies • 100% remote company • Innovative, user-centric solutions leveraging open source technologies are provided • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required • BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience is required • Experience working in an Agile development environment is required • Experience leading project teams through the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, coding, testing, and delivery of solutions is required • Front-end development skills using modern JavaScript frameworks, such as ReactJS/React Native, Angular, or Vue are required • Backend development skills using server-side frameworks, such as NodeJS/Express, Flask, Django, or Spring are required • Database skills (e.g., Postgres/PostGIS, SQLite, MySQL, SQL Server, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, etc.) are required • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and team player

Requirements

• Open source geospatial technologies, such as Mapbox GL, GeoServer, etc. (Nice to Have) • Data visualization using technologies such as Kibana, Tableau, D3, etc (Nice to Have) • Containerization and container orchestration, preferably using Docker and Kubernetes (Nice to Have) • Cloud computing, especially using AWS services such as S3, RDS, SQS, EMR, or Kinesis (Nice to Have) • Serverless approaches, preferably using AWS Lambda and Serverless Framework (Nice to Have) • DevOps and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), using technologies such as Jenkins or AWS CodeBuild (Nice to Have) • 3D web experience using technologies such as CesiumJS, WebGL, Unity, or Unreal (Nice to Have) • Advanced technologies (machine learning, computer vision, image processing, data mining, data analytics), using tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Apache Spark (Nice to Have) • Scrum Master (Nice to Have) • Advanced degree (MS or MBA) (Nice to Have) • Active (or open to) Security Clearance (Nice to Have)
