Description

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement. • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the ordering and payments functions within Provi’s platform, aligning with company goals and customer needs. • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of related projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline constraints. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate ordering and payments with other system components and ensure a cohesive product strategy. • Technical Expertise: Maintain hands-on involvement in the design and development of a new ordering architecture while maintaining and optimizing the current platform. • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess and report on the performance of the systems and services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance ordering and payments effectiveness.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 3 years in a managerial role. • Strong technical background as a developer with expertise in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Ruby on Rails). • Demonstrated experience in designing and building new services using Service Oriented Architecture and REST APIs. • Proficiency in data modeling and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, DynamoDB). • Proven track record in leading and delivering complex software projects using Agile methodologies. • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
