Description

• Help build our growth engineering function from the ground up • Work closely with product and marketing to find ways to grow our user base and keep users engaged • Identify and optimize key funnels to improve user acquisition, activation, and conversion rates • Discover and implement new growth loops to drive viral growth and user engagement • Run experiments to test new ideas and features that could boost key growth metrics • Dig into user data to uncover insights and make smart, data-backed decisions • Partner with engineers to smoothly blend growth projects into our products and systems • Wear multiple hats, from hands-on coding to big-picture strategy, while working independently in a fast-paced startup environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on growth and experimentation • Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and experience with frameworks like NestJS and Express • Familiarity with MySQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ (or similar) for data storage, caching, and message queues • Experience with frontend technologies like React and shared component libraries • Knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and tools for frontend app bundling and analytics • Experience with data analysis, A/B testing, and tools like Google Analytics, Heap, or Mixpanel • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets to identify growth opportunities • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment • Optional: Experience with machine learning, personalization, or recommendation systems to enhance user engagement and retention
