• Development of programs, post G-code, and machine a variety of 3D-printed engine parts • Optimization of first article programs into production programs • Writing manufacturing plans, developing tooling and fixtures, and collaborating with manufacturing engineers to develop new machining processes
• 6+ years of experience in CNC machining • 5+ years of programming experience • Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up • Strong communication skills and ability to understand work instructions • Ability to program and operate multi-axis high-precision machines • Ability to manually edit G-code paths/settings to optimize production programs • Ability to perform basic machine maintenance such as oil and coolant refill, including cleaning and sharpening • Experience creating detailed set up instructions • Ability to train operators how to set up and run machines • Experience machining Inconel or similar nickel alloys • Experience transitioning parts from first article to production
