• Develop and maintain detailed project plans including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation • Support proposal process as needed • Bridge the gap between customer programs, weld engineering, materials and process engineering, production, post-processing, and supply chain functions • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams • Manage and optimize project resources • Identify potential risks and issues related programs and contracts • Ensure all projects adhere to regulations, guidelines, and security requirements
• Bachelors degree in relevant STEM field (Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics) • 3+ years experience in managing technical hardware projects with internal and external facing customers • Program management experience working on or leading fast-paced, collaborative teams including managing project dashboards, scoping, structuring, creating, and reviewing deliverables • Exposure to metallic materials selection criteria, and experience in evaluating candidate materials for challenging applications • Familiarity with metallurgical non-destructive evaluation, testing and characterization methods including design of experiments and robust understanding of statistical methods • Experience with MES, ERP systems and working in a manufacturing environment • Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing related to engineering drawing interpretation and review • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills including technical writing strengths • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, JIRA) • US citizen, born or naturalized, as this is a prerequisite for a security clearance
