• Ensure rockets achieve overall objectives and satisfy strict requirements • Process test data and flight data • Process weather and wind data for launch operations • Model stage separation for trajectory design of entry vehicles • Develop models for payload deployment collision avoidance • Build simulation capability for winds evaluation • Model engine actuators in vehicle dynamics simulation • Create a wall of truth for vehicle design • Automate dashboard updates for testing and launch values • Perform CFD analysis of vehicle entry
• Current undergraduate or graduate student in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a related field • 1+ years relevant internship experience preferred, not required • Experience with engineering coding language like Python • Experience contributing to complex projects as part of a technical team • Passion for launch and entry vehicle physics, simulation, and operations
