• As a Lead Software Engineer at Remo, you'll be the technical leader of a team focused on enhancing the provider experience within our innovative dementia care platform. • You'll design and build the tools that empower healthcare professionals to deliver personalized, effective care to our patients and their caregivers. • Your work will directly contribute to our mission of transforming dementia care and improving the lives of those affected by this complex condition.
Requirements
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of designing and building large-scale systems in healthcare. • Proficiency and strong knowledge of FHIR, HL7, X12, ADT, PACS, DICOM, and EHR / EMR systems. • Proficiency with our architecture (Docker, Node.js/TypeScript, GraphQL) and cloud environments (AWS or Aptible). • Experience leading technical design discussions and providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and architecture principles. • Experience building full-stack user facing features for web applications while prioritizing performance optimization and security. • Experience leading complex features driving the technical architecture and requirements. • Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. • Experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs while accounting for security and performance. • Experience with PACS, electronic medical records (EMR) or patient management systems (PMs), as well as other clinical systems. • Experience implementing mechanisms to drive high velocity, highly functioning engineering teams. • In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, relational databases in general, as well as messaging systems. • Knowledge of compliance and health data privacy standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST) is a plus.
