Description

• Responsible for systems engineering in support of Rocket Lab’s spacecraft and space systems components • Assist in electrical engineering activities, managing designs, and testing electrical systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering; or other engineering degree • Experience with electrical engineering or avionics • 2+ years of electrical engineering or avionics experience • Master’s or PhD in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering; or other engineering degree (nice to have) • Experience in the aerospace/defense industry (nice to have) • Understanding of key spacecraft subsystems and their associated components (nice to have) • Thorough understanding of the space environment, orbital mechanics, and rigid body dynamics (nice to have) • Experience with MATLAB, Python, and STK (nice to have) • Proficiency in electronics principles and electrical systems (nice to have) • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities (nice to have)
