Description
• The Associate Director / Director of R&D Outsourcing and Contracts will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams through vendor/CRO identification and selection. • This role focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and contracting with CROs and vendors, including analyzing service offerings and budgets, identifying and escalating ongoing risks and ensuring operational deliverables are documented.
Requirements
• Minimum 7-10 years experience in Clinical Trial outsourcing and budgets • Experience in a small, fast-paced start up biotech is a plus • Experience with formats and process requirements to lead functional teams in CRO and vendor budget alignment • Experience in developing and negotiation of CRO/Sponsor budgets and Work Orders • Proven track record of guiding Sponsor through RFI, RFP, Bid Defense and Study Award for CROs and vendors • Ability to travel to CRO partners (as dictated by specific study needs), and New York main office, on an as-needed basis • Ability to deal with multiple priorities, multiple stakeholders, and aggressive timelines • Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects/tasks • Strong oral and written communication skills
