Description
• Seeking a talented Cloud Operations Engineer to deploy, engineer, and operate hybrid-cloud solutions for enterprise environments. • Successful implementation of solutions based on business continuity, service level agreements, availability, capacity, and security. • Position requires individual and team contributions in a remote, flexible work environment. • On-call 24x7x365 support for enterprise applications. • Troubleshoot, analyze, evaluate, test, debug and implement applications programs. • Monitor alerting systems, review logs and network capacity reports. • Document activities and system configuration. • Develop custom reports, drive continual service improvement, perform system assessments or certifications, execute test processes and scenarios. • Assist with network disaster recovery initiatives and perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in information technology. • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with a cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform. • Ability to travel up to 10% to attend a conference or a training/meeting at various JHA locations. • Bachelor’s degree, experience in systems administration, architecture, or engineering is nice to have. • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform, engineering enterprise scale solutions, migrating workloads between clouds, scripting and/or automation, networking concepts, cloud security & governance, using source code repositories like GitHub, Linux in an enterprise setting, industry frameworks and methodologies (ITIL/Agile/Scrum/DevOps/SRE), and experience with the Financial Services Industry and regulated environments.
