Description

• Join SnapMagic as a Lead Software Engineer to build the future of electronics design. • You'll play a critical role in shaping the future of electronics design. • Work across the entire stack to scale our platform, ship new features, improve existing workflows, and design and integrate AI-driven tools. • Improve and optimize search functionality, enhance our recommendation engine, driver user engagement, and focus on delivering an exceptional user experience. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and AI, while mentoring other engineers. • Lead efforts to integrate our Gen AI-powered Copilot into the platform, enabling engineers to design hardware faster and smarter. • Impactful work as your code will be used by millions worldwide and influence electronic hardware design. • Leadership opportunity to help grow our platform while building a top-tier engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering, ideally with Django or modern frameworks. • Comfortable with backend (PostgreSQL, Python/Django) and solid frontend skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS). • Proven ability to design and build scalable, maintainable systems. • Experience influencing technical direction and mentoring engineers. • You write clean, efficient code but prioritize shipping quickly and iterating fast. • You enjoy collaborating across teams and are excited about helping to recruit top talent. • Familiarity with AI integration and excited to work at the intersection of AI and hardware. • Experience with electronics or CAD tools is a huge bonus. • You’ve made key architecture decisions and led teams. • Experience with Angular or Modern Frameworks: Django, React, Vue, Ember, or Electron.js experience. • You’ve been a founding or early engineer at a startup, taking ownership of the product. • You prioritize delivering great user experiences, not just technical solutions.
