Description
• Join Spotter's elite engineering team as a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in Microservices and AI built with Python and Node. This role demands a seasoned engineer with a deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and AI technologies. Your expertise will be instrumental in building and scaling our next-generation backend systems. • Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient microservices, focusing on high-throughput and low-latency requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into robust, scalable software solutions. • Drive technical excellence through code reviews, architectural discussions, and implementing best practices. • Work closely with stakeholders to identify requirements, define project scope, and prioritize features for development. • Design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions using Node/Python. • Own multiple services, from ideation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on backend engineering. • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. • Extensive experience in building and maintaining microservices architecture. • Familiarity with Generative AI, OpenAI, LLama2, Stable Diffusion is a plus. • Strong experience in building microservices using Node/Python and related technologies (Express, NestJS, Django, FastAPI, etc.). • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform is a plus. • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and hands-on experience with Github actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar. • Exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly in the world of microservices. • Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively across multiple teams.
