Description
• Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts, task orders, and subsequent amendments • Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment with minimal guidance • Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness • Independently prepare and issue subcontractor Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) in support of government contracts • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations • Compile and analyze data and maintain historical information • Develop and generate written standard operating procedures (SOPs) for subcontractor management • Monitor company performance for conformance to original proposals • Prepare and disseminate information throughout the organization regarding contract status • Initiate documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications • Maintain contractual records and documentation • Participate in teaming agreement and strategic marketing alliance negotiations
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 5 - 7 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 - 5 years of experience • Hands on experience with Unanet ERP • Thorough understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts • Ability to work under general direction, providing technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Experience with government regulations and legal requirements related to contracts • Proficiency in preparing financial reports, statements, and estimates • National Contracts Management Association (NCMA) Certification preferred
