Description

• As a Staff Analyst on the Personal Loans team at Upstart, responsible for driving understanding, insights, decision-making, and data infrastructure relating to the development, optimization, and enhancement of Personal Loans product. Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing teams to drive product innovation and growth.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and quantitative background with at least 6+ years professional experience, preferably in product analytics • Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python / R, Looker / Mode / Tableau, etc.) • Degree in Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or other quantitative field • Strong communication and analytical storytelling skills, experience deriving actionable insights, a well-balanced rigorous and creative approach to solving problems • Experience in technology, marketplace, fintech companies with knowledge of consumer financing • Ability to craft executive-ready narratives, deep expertise in applying analytics and data science techniques in product organizations, experience coaching and mentoring junior team members

Benefits

• Anticipated Base Salary Range: $157,000 - $217,000 USD • Target bonuses • Equity compensation • Generous benefits packages including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
