Description
• Serve as the technical lead overseeing design and implementation of backend services and frontend UI for a Demand Side Platform • Mentor team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development • Determine technical vision and scope while developing and reviewing projects • Lead product development efforts for Viant DSP’s suite of products • Work with internal and external teams to identify opportunities and understand user needs • Drive initiatives to reduce operational load and build sustainable products
Requirements
• AdTech domain experience or strong proficiency in Go programming language • 12+ years of professional software industry experience • Experience with web services, microservices, or other SOA • Relational database experience such as MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field is a plus • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms • Knowledge of modern programming languages like Java and Go • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies especially AWS, Azure, or GCP • Hands-on experience designing, building, and delivering scalable software • Ad tech industry experience is a plus • NoSQL experience is a plus
