Description
• Work directly with Viant’s ad server • Manage a high-volume, low-latency application • Process billions of unique requests a day • Develop a self-diagnostic and healing architecture • Deliver simple, elegant, scalable, extensible solutions • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software features • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and bug triage • Be the technical lead of projects • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Technical operations teams • Support Viant’s Demand Side Platform, VIANT DSP • Collaborate with other internal teams to create a reliable, highly-available, low-latency runtime platform • Own multiple subsystems of the runtime platform
Requirements
• 8+ years of professional experience in the software industry • Experience in the AdTech domain • Proficiency in the Go programming language • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field • Experience designing, building, and delivering high-quality software • Knowledge of modern programming languages • Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server with experience in writing SQL • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, especially AWS and GCP
