Description

• Lead a world-class R&D team on building ML-driven simulation solutions in order to accelerate Waymo’s growth • Apply deep domain expertise in Machine Learning (especially Generative AI), Computer Vision, and/or Computer Graphics to push simulation realism and autonomous driving to the next level • Drive the whole lifecycle of tech innovation, from prototypes to productization into large-scale simulation and data processing systems • Grow and manage high-caliber ML & Software Engineers in an exciting, fast-paced, diverse environment

Requirements

• M.S. in Computer Science (or related fields) + 10 year’s working experience, or a Ph.D. in Computer Science (or related fields) + 7 year’s working experience • Academic background and industrial experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision / Perception, Computer Graphics & Rendering • 5+ years’ experience in team leadership and people management • 3+ years’ experience in simulation, autonomous driving, and robotics • Direct experience in Generative AI, including multi-modal foundation models and Diffusion models.
