Description

• The Perception Team at Waymo builds the system that 'sees' the world around the self-driving car • Conduct novel research to address real-world perception problems • Collaborate with research teams at Alphabet • Access to millions of miles of driving data from a diverse set of sensors • Develop complex models and techniques at scale • Improvements deployed to the system can immediately help the fleet of autonomous vehicles

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, or equivalent deep learning experience • 3+ years of experience • Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) or Vision Language Models (VLM) • Experience with Python • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as Jax, PyTorch, Tensorflow • (Preferred) PhD degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, or equivalent deep learning experience • (Preferred) Publications on top-tier conferences like CVPR/ICCV/ECCV/ICLR/ICML/NeurIPS/ICLR/AAAI/IJCV/PAMI • (Preferred) Github repositories or Tech Blogs of LLMs/VLMs • (Preferred) Experience with C++
