Description
• Collaborate across the Engineering and Operations teams to help build complex algorithms that provide unique insights into our data. • Make iterative improvements to our back-end systems. • Model front/back-end data sources to help draw a more comprehensive picture of user flows throughout the system to enable enhanced data analysis. • Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources. • Develop models that can be used to make predictions and answer questions for the business
Requirements
• 5+ overall years as a data engineer and 3+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools required. • Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, specifically Redshift, RDS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Aurora, Timestream/InfluxDB, Healthlake, Trino, Quicksight, etc. • Excellent communication skills, especially for explaining technical concepts to nontechnical business leaders, i.e. read your audience and speak their languages. • Ability to work on a dynamic, research-oriented team that has concurrent projects in a startup environment.
