Description
• Plan, organize, and conduct initial and maintenance approval assessments of suppliers against Wisk requirements, and applicable aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements. • Plan, organize, and conduct onsite audits of Wisk procured material, parts, and assemblies. • Develop and mature supplier quality processes and procedures. • Assess supplier capability and capacity to perform work and comply with Wisk specifications, engineering documents, and other contractual and regulatory requirements. • Conduct root cause and corrective action analysis and implement appropriate preventative action. • Provide education on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues, and company initiatives. • Conduct source inspections and conformity inspections (8130-9). • Identify risks and hold suppliers accountable for the mitigation of said risks. • Supports regulatory agency audits and conformity inspections (FAA). • This role will require frequent travel within the United States and foreign countries.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, chemistry, physics or equivalent experience • 8+ years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management • 2+ years of experience in Aerospace industry • Working knowledge of the requirements of AS9100 and other aerospace industry standards • Ability and the technical skills to lead and perform conformity inspections
