Description

•Working on multiple client websites by implementing changes to various aspects and ensuring compliance with Google's best practices •Expected to retain existing business, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities on assigned accounts •Communicating via email and video calls with clients on a regular basis •Strategizing with team members to come up with creative solutions for our clientsKeeping up with the SEO industry through blogs, publishers, competitive research, etc. •Creating reports to gauge progress and to inform the client of the value being provided •Presenting your findings to the client and influencing their onsite content strategy •Working with a client’s development team to implement changes to their website

Requirements

•2-3 years of experience doing local SEO work for clients within an agency environment •Minimum 1 year of client-facing experience is preferred •Desire to lead strategy for a large National (multi-location) SEO client •Understand the basics of SEO such as keyword research & website architecture •Familiarity with Google Analytics, and grasp the basics of content marketing •Experience with keyword research/data mining tools and competitive analysis •Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Internet proficiency are required •Experience working directly on websites (general knowledge of CMS such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento is a plus) •Ability to quickly pick up new skills and learn new tasks •Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to hit and exceed deadlines required •Excellent communication skills, both written and oral while paying close attention to detail •A proactive approach to collaborating with others and managing workload
