• Responsible for generating high quality leads for sales of life science products in a defined territory • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create a high quality lead generation and qualification process with defined metrics • Build effective customer relationships, develop opportunities, and achieve forecasts set with your input • Build and increase customer database and, using salesforce CRM, coordinate processes for assigned territory and customer base including academia, pharma, biotech, and CROs • Identify, qualify, develop and support sales in platform, assays and services • Manage and close leads generated by colleagues in sales, service and support, and marketing • Communicate with key stakeholders in accounts to uncover opportunities and share Alamar’s product information via sales presentations • Participate in sales and product training, marketing campaigns, conferences, to develop effective selling skills to represent the Company • Increase revenue by extending quotes based on Company guidelines and competitive pricing • Evaluate processes, create new ones and improve effectiveness for Company and sales organization
• Bachelor's degree in science related field or equivalent experience • 2+ years of inside sales experience for a life sciences/biotechnology company with track record of achieving results • Excellent communications skills and experience presenting to clients to secure sales • Attention to detail, familiarity with SFDC, Power BI and other MS tools • Sales driven, self-starter, organized, confident and team player • Ability to travel to customer sites as required
