• As an EMI/EMC Test Engineer, you will work at the intersection of all engineering disciplines to ensure hardware quality and reliability. • You will establish our internal EMI/EMC test facility to conduct development and qualification testing. • Responsible for developing and implementing test plans, tools, systems, and processes for effective EMI/EMC testing of components and subsystems. • Own and maintain the test processes and setup of the EMI/EMC environmental test area and systems. • Collaborate with design engineering to define EMI/EMC test equipment specifications and qualify equipment.
• 3+ years of experience in a testing environment • Experience in radiated and conducted testing to EMI/EMC standards (MIL-STD-461, FCC, CISPR, CE, etc) • Experience using RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, power amplifiers etc) • Knowledge of antennas and electromagnetic propagation up to 67GHz • Experience with and best practices working in an anechoic chamber • Experience automating lab measurements using Python or other scripting languages • Experience dealing with EMI/EMC issues for high power electronics • Experience using electromagnetic analysis tools (CST, HFSS, etc) • Ability to read and interpret PCB schematic and layout, electrical interface drawings, and mechanical CAD documents • Comfortable working with Linux and python
