Description
• Lead a team of high performing engineers to support the organization’s data warehouse, metrics, and reporting needs • Build and shape the backbone for analytics needs across the organization • Partner with Analysts, Data & ML Engineers, and other internal teams to define and shape self-service analytics and a data-driven organization • Support the relationship between the BI/Analytics teams and Engineering as we build out a world-class data warehouse for our business and clients • Oversee high priority, fast moving projects with multiple stakeholders • Deliver trusted, timely, cost efficient, & performant datasets & instrumentation answering critical business needs • Keep abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in data engineering and software development
Requirements
• 7+ years in business intelligence/data engineering roles supporting multiple stakeholders • Experience managing and coaching 3+ direct reports for growth and success in a fast paced environment • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Experience using, writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment • Strong working knowledge of data engineering best practices & data warehousing concepts • Effective people manager who can manage high-performing teams • Demonstrated curiosity, analytical mindset, and logical problem-solving skills
