Description
Participate in month end closing by taking ownership of entire financial statement line items of the P&L, including flux analyses and budget to actual analyses • Collaborate with US and India team members to provide useful and necessary financial information • Create and review journal entries in the GL to support daily and month end activities • Prepare and review account reconciliations • Listen to, learn form, and partner with members of various departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information • Aid in integrations between our ERP and additional software tools to modernize and scale the business • Educate coworkers regarding financial practices, implications, and policies • Provide ad hoc analysis support to business leaders and key partners
Requirements
Degree in accounting, business or finance • 4-6 years of experience in an accounting firm or department • At least 2 years of management experience • Adaptable to multiple and frequent changes in business environment • Proven expertise with Excel • Experience with Netsuite preferred, but not required • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, without losing attention to detail • Proactively review processes for improvement opportunities; never satisfied with the status quo • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
