Description
• Lead the commercialization of agricultural robotics and machine learning. • Set ambitious vision for ML development. • Motivate and mentor ML engineers and managers. • Remain abreast of advances in ML and AI technology. • Lead process maturation of a scaling organization. • Own and optimize the budget for ML expenses. • Partner with program, product, and engineering teams. • Translate technical information for non-technical audiences. • Create a work environment fostering transparency and innovation. • Advocate for team needs and manage performance.
Requirements
• 10+ years of proven engineering leadership experience with 5+ years in Data Science and CVML. • A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field is required; an advanced master's degree is preferred. • Proven leadership in developing and executing strategic visions for ML teams. • Effective relationship builder and highly approachable technical leader. • Bold thinker and confident decision maker. • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. • Track record of delivering commercially successful products. • Outstanding recruiter and team builder. • Experience working on complex, real-time robotics systems. • Comfortable working in a dynamic, agile environment.
