• Conduct preventive maintenance on medical equipment. • Diagnose and repair malfunctions. • Inspect new medical equipment for compliance. • Implement and maintain medical device security protocols. • Install, calibrate, and configure medical equipment. • Conduct electrical safety inspections. • Monitor and address safety recalls. • Perform software repairs and updates. • Maintain records of maintenance activities using CMMS. • Provide technical support and training to medical staff. • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals for seamless operations.
• A two-year associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training. • Demonstrated competency to perform operational verification procedures, planned maintenance, and repair service on various medical equipment. • Understanding of regulatory agencies’ requirements, industry regulatory requirements and International Standard Organization standards. • Familiarity with the setup and application of test equipment. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawings. • Level III Experience - A minimum of five years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance.
