• The Business Development Lead will play a critical role in growing the number of Carbon Direct Platform customers. • Leveraging your experience in sustainability consulting and/or climate software partnerships, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. • Your ability to showcase the value of Carbon Direct’s deep decarbonization expertise will be critical to your success in the role. • You will develop a deep understanding of Carbon Direct's carbon accounting platform and related services to communicate the value proposition to customers effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in consulting or climate software partnerships, with a focus on sustainability, ESG, or related domains • Strong understanding of greenhouse gas accounting, target-setting frameworks (e.g., SBTi), and net zero strategy • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills • Ability to navigate and sell to a range of stakeholders, from sustainability managers to C-suite executives • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and sales enablement technologies - Hubspot preferred
